Here Is What Some Schoolchildren in Louisiana Learn About Evolution

Fifth graders in some state-sponsored schools in Louisiana study both creationism and evolution as competing theories. “Fact or Theory?”

    -source | Buzzfeed

Just a quick glance looks like it favors creationism pretty hard. And with tax payer money.

    The rage is intense

  • It Stands to Reason, Skeptics Can Be Sexist Too

The extraordinary story of how author Richard Dawkins made insensitive remarks about a female atheist blogger, and the torrent of vicious abuse she has had to put up with - both before and since, from misogynists.

I am a fan of Richard, but this…was a pretty unreasonable and unhelpful thing that he did.

Rebecca had every right to feel uncomfortable in the circumstance she described, and to voice a view that encourages others not to behave in that way.

While many of the men who attacked Rebecca were misogynists, Richard Dawkins wasn’t one. He clearly took issue with her bitching about her rights even though they’ve made leaps and bounds

Remember that time that Atheists groups/centers were the head quarters of black activism during the Civil Rights Movements?

    Me neither.

Remember that time the bible was used as the foundation for racism and sexism, cause it was now
